It’s official, winter has arrived on the Teen Grid and it’s the most exciting time of the year because christmas is coming up very soon. Many residents of the teen grid have been already started to get ready for christmas, you can check out them places right now. I’ve created a list of places where you can go to enjoy the snow, christmas season, go ice-kating and to get many freebies too. Finally, don’t forget to have fun and enjoy yourself. Take a few friends with you to these locations and enjoy the winter season while it last’s. I think there will be a special TSL snowball fight later next month, keep your eyes open for updates.

Arwyn Quandry, a member of TSL, created a Teen Grid, Transmissions From TSL wordpress blog. The blog includes some interesting posts about grid serparation and new statistics for Teen Second Life.Since the start of year, there have been rumor’s about a possible grid merge. There have been many teen grid resident posts on blogs, debates, surveys, protest, TSL Forum threads and discussions about it.

Many residents of the community have said they don’t like the idea of a grid merge and some do support merging grids. The final decision is upto Linden Lab at the end of the day, to decide the future of Teen Grid etc. All we know is that Linden Lab have been thinking about the possibilities of it, but nothing said if it’s still going ahead or not.

In our continuing effort to make the Second Life Volunteer program the finest in Second Life, we have adopted new processing steps for Apprentice mentors to advance from Apprentice to full Mentor. Recently, our application processing rate has dropped to accommodate these changes. Rather than let the application list grow at its present pace and force residents who desire to participate in the Volunteer program to wait weeks if not months to hear from us, we have decided to stop accepting applications until we have processed the list of residents currently in the pipeline. Jacob Bandler a resident of the Teen Grid, created a post yesterday about who is Most Likely to Succeed on the Main Grid – Nominations Phase. Jacob and I believe Benett Carter (TG resident) would like peeps of the Teen Grid (TSL) to nomiate for your favourite that will make the most success on the Main Grid. Voting will be reviewed later next month and winners will be announced on January 1st 2009.
If you can remember, Benett Carter earlyier this year, posted Vintryx Top 10 Most likely to succeed on the Main Grid on the Teen Metaverse Blog. There was alot of comments for that post and many names on that list, have now. transfered over to the MG. :(

Today, Linden Lab, released the new Release Candidate 1.22 (RCO), to help identify new bugs and try out the new features before it becomes an official download for Second Life, WoooT.

The Imprudence 1.0.0 release candidate is now available for download. Please try it out and let us know what worked and didn’t work, what you liked and didn’t like, etc. Your feedback helps us make Imprudence kick ass even more. :D
