TSL Breaking News: Teen Second Life Manager steps down “kkthxbai!1″
Blue Linden, has just released new details today on the TSL Forums under the TSL Announcements section, saying he will no longer be in the “Teen Second Life Manager” position for the Teen Grid anymore, which is really sad news.
Blue Linden has been a awesome Teen Second Life Manager since 2005, in (beta). I think everyone would agree with that, everyone loves Blue. http://forums.secondlife.com/showthread.php?t=296969

Change is the nature of Second Life. Over the years we’ve seen Teen Second Life grow from 6 individuals, to thousands and from a few mainland regions to scores of sims, with dozens of islands run by non-profits, educators and entrepreneurial teens. In time it was no longer possible for me to handle certain tasks like land management and support for TSL expanded to include numerous lindens and teams like the Linden Land Gurus. Eventually this became the case with all teen-related issues…to the point where today there are no longer any TSL tasks on my schedule. And so, just as no single Linden runs the main grid, there is no single Linden that runs the teen grid, and no need for the position “Teen Second Life Manager”. Eliminating this position is primarily a clerical change and will not represent a significant or even noticeable difference for teen residents. Lindens still host office hours on TSL (catch me at 4 on Thursdays in Meiji West!) and of course, I’ll still be advocating for teen residents here at the Lab and will still be available at blue@lindenlab.com when not inworld.
As I’m sure you know, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being able to call myself the “teen grid guy” and work so closely with such an amazingly smart, talented, and creative group of residents these past several years. Just don’t forget me after you’ve taken over the world
