BBBC 2009 Review

Yesterday marked the last day of this year’s Big Bad Blogger Challenege 2009,  by Alicia Chenaux. This is what Alicia had to say about this year’s challenge!

I had a blast this week! It was incredible to me how many people signed up, and how many kept going even though writing so much was totally outside their normal routine.

As you can see, we went from almost 30 challengers last year to over 60 this year! Quite impressive!!

I got the chance to meet some wonderful people, and I was inspired by all of you. You guys bring so much to the Second Life community.

I am constantly amazed by the blogging community – the creativity, the passion, the style. I have laughed hysterically over some posts, and some have touched me so deeply in ways I never thought they would. Thank you, for everything.

Zindra regions are now opened

Yesterday LL published on the Official Second Life Blog that Zindra (new adult content regions)  are now officially opened.

Starting 29th of June 2009 there will be a ticket submission to process land requests for parcels.

Today, Monday, June 15th, Zindra will be officially opened for the Residents of Second Life. For those of you who have been following this topic since it was first announced back in March, the lack of a solid timeline for implementation may have been frustrating. The final release of 1.23 however, has allowed us the ability to specify certain key dates in the process of moving adult content. Zindra will be open for two weeks, allowing Residents the convenience to explore as their personal schedules permit.

Bring pen and paper with you on your journey as once the two weeks are up on the 29th of June, the ticket submission process will begin and those applying for the land swap will be asked which parcels they prefer.

New sims in the past week

June 15, 2009 Daniel Voyager 1 comment

Tyche Shepherd last year on SLUniverse Forums launched a new service called New Sims in the past week which will keep residents updated on new sims, snapshots of new sims, sims that are no longer on the grid along with grid wide statistics. I’m still amazed to see it running today and the stats are very interesting indeed.
